The Canadiens started out extremely strong, recording the first 9 Fenwick attempts of the game, and drawing two penalties with strong play in Tampa Bay’s zone, but couldn’t capitalize.
The Lightning had a bit of a surge and drew a powerplay of their own, but couldn’t get a single shot attempt with the man advantage, in no small part due to the brilliance of P.K. Subban.
All in all, that was a great start coming off of a week of no games against a very good team, hopefully the Habs keep it up.
