Unfortunately Max Pacioretty has not yet returned to the game, and predictably the Hurricanes have dominated the play ever since.
Carey Price has been golden, which is probably the colour he’ll wear on his neck if Team Canada decides to make him the starter in Sochi.
Speaking of Sochi, how bored will Price be anyhow? Playing behind an actual legitimate defence? I’m not sure he’s ready for that.
The good news is that Montreal capitalized on a nice series of passes late in the second, and Ryan White bounced on a Markov rebound to give the Habs a 2-1 lead going into the third. Do they deserve it? Probably not, but we’ll take it!
