Canadiens vs. Flyers: Game thread, rosters, lines, and how to watch

The trade deadline has come and gone, leaving the Philadelphia Flyers relatively intact, but snatching away some of the already thin centre depth the Montreal Canadiens possessed.

For the first time in his career, Tomas Plekanec will be playing for a team other than the Canadiens tonight, as the brunt of the burden now falls on Phillip Danault, whom Marc Bergevin regards as Plekanec’s successor.

Danault, Jonathan Drouin and co. will get a test tonight in a Flyers team that has won five straight games (including one at the Habs’ expense a week ago) and is on an 11-game points streak. Containing Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek has proven difficult for the team in their two previous February meetings, and things aren’t going to get any easier with the top shutdown centre no longer in the mix.

Puck drop is at 7:30 PM EST / 4:30 PM PST
