Canadiens vs. Bruins: Game thread, rosters, lines, and how to watch

The Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins both enjoyed some time away from the game, having their bye weeks overlap over the last few days. Things ramp back up for the teams in a hurry, with three games versus each other over the next eight days.

The Canadiens had won two games in a row prior to the break, with one being an impressive showing in a clash with the league-best Tampa Bay Lightning. The Bruins had a three-game winning streak broken in an overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins in their last game of action, though it did allow them to extend their point streak to 11 games.

Boston has been scoring at will recently, recording at least five goals six times during that span, and hitting the net 22 times in their last four contests.

If the Habs are going to come out of tonight’s game with a win, they will need both a strong defensive showing and the newly tweaked lines to find success immediately.
