Canadiens vs. Bruins Game thread, roster, lines and how to watch

On most nights, the Canadiens can be certain they can count on the hottest goaltender in the league, although tonight that might be up for debate.

Tuukka Rask is on a roll throughout the start of the season. The Boston netminder is 7-1-0, and has only allowed 14 goals on 225 shots. Carey Price on the other hand is working on a great record as well, as he’s yet to lose a game this year. His .952 save percentage is second in the league, whereas Rask’s .941 ranks sixth.

Of course, we all know about Rask’s struggles when facing the Canadiens. He missed the first matchup of the year with a bad bout of Habsitis, but history has not been kind when he faces the Canadiens. In 24 regular season games Rask has only managed five wins.

UPDATE: Looks like it’ll be rookie Zane McIntyre getting the start instead.

Habs (10-1-0)

Who’s hot: Alex Galchenyuk (5GP, 3G, 3A), Alex Radulov (4GP, 1G, 3A)

Who’s not: Andrew Shaw (4GP, 0G, 1A), Max Pacioretty (4GP, 0G, 1A)

Bruins (7-5-0)

Who’s hot: David Pastrnak (5 GP, 4G, 1A), Brad Marchand (4GP, 2G, 2A)

Who’s not: Jimmy Hayes (10GP, 0G, 0A), David Backes (6GP, 0G, 1A)

Montreal will be playing with a modified roster this evening, seeing as rookie Artturi Lehkonen is out of the lineup with an upper-body injury. That means fellow rookie Daniel Carr will play the third line, whereas the speedy Paul Byron received a promotion to the first line, alongside Alex Galchenyuk and Alex Radulov.

Puck drop is 7:30 PM EDT / 4:30 PM PDT
