A lot of news came out of the Montreal Canadiens morning skate in Detroit this morning ahead of their game against the Red Wings.
It appears that Artturi Lehkonen will make his return from an upper body injury suffered against the Philadelphia Flyers a few weeks ago, and will skate on a line with David Desharnais and Andrew Shaw.
Les trios probables du CH:
Radulov-Galchenyuk-Byron
Pacioretty-Plekanec-Gallagher
Lehkonen-Desharnais-Shaw

Chris Terry appears to be the odd man out with Lehkonen’s return while Daniel Carr also is back in as Charles Hudon was injured in practice yesterday.
He took a shot off his chest, and we have an update there as well as he is out indefinitely with a cracked sternum.

There will be no changes on defence as Nathan Beaulieu is still not ready to return to the Canadiens lineup.
After tonight’s game against Detroit, the Habs head out on a trip to California and should have Zach Redmond with them. Redmond is currently on a conditioning assignment in the AHL.
They do not have to replace Hudon now that Lehkonen has returned.
