Following a Game 6 that could have gone either way, neither head coach wanted to mess too much with the chemistry of his team. Dominique Ducharme will use the same 19 players, while Sheldon Keefe leaves his forward group intact, only replacing the injured Jake Muzzin with Rasmus Sandin.
The Canadiens got a major boost from 2,500 fans last game, and that has forced the Maple Leafs organization to scramble to get their setup approved for fans. There will be 500 fully vaccinated health-care workers in attendance tonight trying to replicate what happened in Montreal two night ago. Will it have any effect on the home team? Are the Canadiens now immune from the effects of an opposing fanbase after experiencing it first? We will have a good indication of that in the first few minutes of a final showdown between the two teams.
