April 20th, this is the actual anniversary of the Habs-Nords Good Friday Massacre game (a come from behind win that the Habs won 5-3 and ten players were ejected) and the Canadiens are hosting a playoff game at home. It feels a little ominous especially with the way these playoffs have been heating up.
The Lightning still have some major issues in goal. From Erik Erlendsson, lover of peeps and who covers the Bolts for the Tampa Bay Tribune, but not the guy who played on Live Through This:

Lots of people are now clamouring for Gudlevskis to start which is kind of the equivalent of the Habs losing Carey Price and fans shouting for Mike Condon to start game 3. I’d compare Dustin Tokarski to Kristers Gudlveskis, but Tokarski with ten games of NHL experience is a grizzled vet in comparison. A guy named Kristers making saves on Easter Sunday might be a little too close to the case for people to handle so all indications point to The Ders (Lindback) making the start in net tonight.
Injured Bolts rookie Ondrej Palat skated on a line with Nate Thompson and Richard Panik today in practice. It’s unclear whether Palat is a lock for tonight’s game. You’d have to assume that Jon Cooper avoids going with 7 D tonight and Palat is in the line-up, but it still appears to be a gametime decision.
Travis Moen has shown signs of progression, but is not expect in the line-up tonight. That is a very prudent move by the Canadiens given that they’re up 2-0 and back on home ice. Why rush Moen back just yet? And while we may see Moen in this series, Galchenyuk as you can figure out isn’t expected back until the 2nd round.
Only four Canadiens (Bouillon, Bournival, Prust, and Markov) don’t have a point so far in the playoffs, who is your money on to change that tonight?
Also – which goal was more highlight reel worthy, Rene Bourque’s or Pavel Datsyuk’s? I give Datsyuk higher marks for skill, but Bourque’s goal got points for difficulty and speed.
Oh and P.J. Stock applauding ignorance of Fenwick and Corsi? What a clown.
