Canadiens vs Ducks game thread

Who would have guessed when the trade deadline coverage began today that the Canadiens would walk away with the top player available in Vanek? Certainly not TSN, who reacted like someone just kicked their puppy. The Habs also grabbed Dubnyk and you can catch our grades for every trade the Habs made through the deadline period here.

But let’s snap back to reality, as Tokarski gets his first start as a Hab tonight against Anaheim, and Michel Therrien has decided to scratch Eller in favour of Parros… Okay then. Maybe Bergevin’s great deadline day made up for his horrible summer, but we still have to deal with Michel.

Puck drop is at 10:00 PM.
