The St. Louis Blues have announced that two of their superstars, David Backes and T.J. Oshie, will be out of the lineup indefinitely due to concussions. Coming into the season the Blues were picked by many NHL analysts to be one of the team’s to beat in the West, but a subpar 4-3-1 start to the season has left a lot of people surprised. Vancouver Canucks goaltender Ryan Miller earned his 300th career victory on Tuesday night and discussed what that means to him. Miller, who is in his first year with the Canucks, played his entire career in Buffalo with the Sabres until being traded to the St. Louis Blues at the trade deadline last year. He has been one of the most consistent and well respected goalies in the last ten years and won the Vezina Trophy and the Silver Medal in the Vancouver Olympic games in 2010 for the United States. Edmonton Oilers‘ goaltender Ben Scrivens has recently unveiled his new mask which was custom made to raise awareness for mental health issues.
