The Anaheim Ducks have fired Bruce Boudreau, and a couple days later the Calgary Flames fired Bob Hartley. They join Dave Cameron on the newly unemployed list, and it seems as though the Minnesota Wild are prepared to move on from interim coach John Torchetti as well. The list of vacancies continues to grow, yet the Montreal Canadiens stand firmly behind Michel Therrien. Hmm…

Speaking of Montreal, the oft-rumoured destination for a possible P.K. Subban trade is the Edmonton Oilers, however their general manager shot down those rumours, saying that he and the Canadiens haven’t even spoken about a possible trade. Does this mean Subban is safe?

Kris Letang has put himself and his team in hot water, earning himself a one game suspension for a hit to the head of Marcus Johansson. It’s the second suspension-worthy move by Letang this offseason, which distracts from his otherwise brilliant play. Could this be the turning point for the Penguins?
