All-Star Skills Thread: Habs Price, Diaz Set to Show Their Talent

The 2012 NHL All-Star Game isn’t until Sunday, but tonight is likely the most entertaining part of the weekend’s events.

The players and rookie invitees are set to show their talents in the All-Star Skills Competition.

The Montreal Canadiens are represented by goaltender Carey Price, and rookie defenseman Raphael Diaz, as members of Team Zdeno Chara.

Price will partake in the “All State Breakaway Challenge”, facing Team Daniel Alfredsson members Sean Couturier, Logan Couture and John Tavares.

Price will also compete in the “Tim Horton’s Elimination Shootout”.

Diaz will be part of the “G Series NHL Skills Challenge Relay”, as part of the puck control relay portion.

What’s the over/under on scoring chances in the breakaway and shootout events?
