When Alex Galchenyuk’s name was announced, you could feel the ripple of excitement throughout the Bell Centre, even with a constantly buffering internet live stream.
And Galchneyuk didn’t disappoint, going backhand shelf on Peter Budaj to a raucous ovation from the Bell Centre crowd louder than most arenas when a team wins a playoff game.
