Welcome to a new season of A Hockey City!
I’d like to say I know what’s in store for this season, but I don’t. A lot has changed since I first started making this comic and for the first time in a while, I truly have no idea what’s going to happen to the hockey team I love.
If only I could get inside the head of the man who runs everything; the man who decides the fate of something so incredibly important to me….
What exactly does the inside of Marc Bergevin’s head even look like at this point?
I do give the general manager credit for throwing a fresh mix of players together to freshen things up after two toilsome seasons….
On the bright side, the team is moving forward with this group for better or for worse. In the end, all that matters in hockey is who you make friends with along the way. Just ask Max Pacioretty and Jonathan Drouin.
A Hockey City will be back in two weeks, for the opening weekend of the regular season (October 8)!
