Bronze Medal Game
9:00 AM ET: Czechia vs Finland
Two teams that put up good fights but fell short will likely be very evenly matched as they try and leave Sweden with a medal. Czechia was close with Sweden until the floodgates opened in the third period. Finland took an early 2-0 lead against the United States, but a late goal in the third period was the difference. The game will be on TSN 1/4 and RDS in Canada and NHL Network in the US.
Gold Medal Game
1:30 PM ET: United States vs Sweden
This was always expected to be the most likely gold medal game and it will be happening. The two teams met in the pre-tournament with the USA winning, but this one will be for all of the marbles. Sweden bounced back from a close win against Switzerland and pulled away from the Czechs. The United States faced their first two-goal deficit of the tournament against Finland but fought back for the 3-2 win. The home crowd, plus a lot of Canadians, will be firmly in support of Sweden. The game will be on TSN 1/3/4/5 and RDS in Canada and NHL Network in the US.
