2018 Montreal Canadiens Top 25 Under 25: Recapping players 25-11

As we head into the Top 10 of our 2018 Montreal Canadiens Top 25 Under 25, let’s freshen our memories on who has already made the list.

Our staff and readers had a lot of fun during the voting process for the ninth annual T25U25. Just how much fun? This year we received approximately 400 votes! And the fun doesn’t stop there. It continues on, in our comment sections and social media platforms, with the (mostly) lighthearted debates that are all part of the big reveal.

Before diving into the countdown, we first took a look at the players who graduated from the list (Phillip Danault), departures (Alex Galchenyuk) and newbies (Jesperi Kotkaniemi).

With 45 eligible players to chose from, not everyone could make the cut. Players who ranked the lowest were analyzed in order to help make the case for the players who did make the list.

And of course, we couldn’t forget the oh-so-close group of five who ended up on the outside looking in.

2018 Canadiens Top 25 Under 25: The Near Misses (30-26)

From Michael McCarron, who took a big tumble down the chart this season after sliding from an impressive number nine in 2017 to number 23, to Cayden Primeau who, at number 36 wasn’t even close to making it last year, flew up the list to number 17, and everyone in between, a look at the first 15 in the countdown:
