Group A Preliminary Game

6 PM ET: Finland vs Canada

This is the game that will decide the Group. Both Canada and Finland are 3-0 and quarterfinal positioning will be very important. Winning this game can be the difference between facing the Czech Republic and facing the United States or Sweden. Neither game is necessarily easy, but it also affects the semi-finals as well. The game will be on TSN 1/3/4/5 and RDS in Canada and NHL Network in the US.

Group B Preliminary Games

2 PM ET: Czech Republic vs Austria

The Czech Republic will need to win or take this game to overtime in order to advance to the quarterfinal. Thanks to Sweden and Russia going to overtime, the Czechs can do no better than 4th in the standings. Austria still has a chance to make the quarterfinal with a regulation win. They played their best game against Russia, and have some momentum going into this game. They remain, however, huge underdogs. The game will be on TSN 1/3/4/5 and RDS in Canada and NHL Network in the US.

9:30 PM ET: United States vs Sweden

The United States - and Sweden - both still have a chance to win the group should they win the game in regulation time. A US win in overtime would mean there would be a three-way tie at eight points for top spot in the group. The Americans were discussing how they wanted to end Sweden’s long round robin streak. Now they will have to hope to avoid being the team that allows them to start a new one. The game will be on TSN 1/3/4/5 and RDS in Canada, NHL Network in the US.

All games shown on TSN will be streamed on TSN Live in Canada, but it requires a subscription.
