Group A Preliminary Game

6 PM ET: Switzerland vs Canada

Canada had a tougher than expected game against Slovakia in a game that came down to the final minutes of the third period. They are expected to have Dylan Holloway back for this game, and Braden Schneider will also return after his suspension. For Switzerland, their focus may be on their final game of the round robin on Wednesday against Germany. Unless they can pull off a huge upset without any NHL drafted players, that is the game that will decide whether they make the quarterfinal. The game will be on TSN 1/3/4/5 and RDS in Canada and NHL Network in the US.

Group B Preliminary Games

2 PM ET: United States vs Czech Republic

Both teams are coming off of their first wins of the tournament after opening with losses. The United States defeated Austria after losing to Russia, while the Czech Republic is coming off of a win against Russia after losing to Sweden. The winner of this game will have the inside track to a top-two spot in the group, while the loser may face Canada or Finland in the quarterfinal. Can the Americans crack the Czech wall that stopped Russia? The game will be on TSN 1/3/4/5 and RDS in Canada and NHL Network in the US.

9:30 PM ET: Russia vs Austria

Russia should get back on track after falling to the Czech Republic on Sunday. They will face an Austrian team that just happens to be the odd team out in a group that is significantly stronger than the one on the other side. Austria only allowed four goals to Sweden on Monday, but were badly outshot. The game will be on TSN 1/3/4/5 and RDS in Canada, NHL Network in the US.

All games shown on TSN will be streamed on TSN Live in Canada, but it requires a subscription.
