Group A Preliminary Games

Slovakia vs United States

Fresh off their upset win over the defending champions Finland, Slovakia will clash with Team USA at 4 PM EST on Monday. Team USA will be playing their second half of a back to back after facing Germany on Sunday and would be wise to not take this Slovak team lightly. TSN will carry the game in Canada while NHL Network has the action in the US.

Canada vs Finland

Finland is still in search of their first win of the tournament and they'll face a star studded Team Canada at 8 PM EST. Despite being the defending champions Finland has only managed a single point so far while Canada has cruised to two blowout wins over Slovakia and Germany. TSN 1/2/4 will broadcast the game in Canada while NHL Network has this matchup in the US.

Group B Preliminary Games

Denmark vs Czech Republic

The opening game of the day features two teams looking to establish themselves in this years tournament when Denmark squares off against the Czech Republic at 1 PM EST. The Czech were upset by the Swiss on Saturday while the Danes battled hard against a dominant Swedish team. TSN will have the game in Canada and NHL Network will carry it in the US.

Russia vs Sweden

Both Sweden and Russia get their first real test of the tournament when they face off at 5 PM EST on Monday. Sweden is coming off an impressive win over a pesky Danish team, while Russia played against an always tricky Swiss team on Sunday. TSN 2 will carry the game in Canada and NHL Network has all the action in the US.
