World Juniors 2018: Victor Mete absent from Sunday practice, but will play in Tuesday’s quarter-final
Mete missed the third period of Saturday’s game versus Denmark, but will be in the lineup versus Switzerland tomorrow.
After not seeing any time in the third period of Saturday night’s matchup with Denmark, Victor Mete was seen limping after the game.
Today, he was not participating in Team Canada’s practice ahead of their quarter-final meeting with Switzerland on Tuesday.

Mete has been one of the key members for Canada’s defence, with his speed and transition game helping them to finish the preliminary round atop Group A. The extent of his injury is now known, but hopefully he will not miss significant time in the tournament.
UPDATE: Mete will be in the lineup for Tuesday’s quarter-final.
Ducharme says Victor Mete will play tomorrow vs. 🇨🇭, despite missing practice today. He says Mete was injured against 🇺🇸, not 🇩🇰, and needed "an extra day."
