The most surprising cut perhaps was Frankie Corrado on defense, a Canucks prospect who had played will in the Subway series against Russia earlier in the year.

Charles Hudon will be the lone representative of the Montreal Canadiens organization after Brendan Gallagher, Michael Bournival and Nathan Beaulieu all made the team last year.
