The Montreal Stars are in the longest championship drought of their Clarkson Cup history right now, all of two years after winning three of the previous four. They have a shot at ending that drought today with a win over their rival Boston Blades, who have been in the finals the last two years and won once.
Thus far, the Blades have been the offensive team in the finals, with Brianna Decker and Hilary Knight leading the way with six and five points respectively in just two games. However the Stars have a trump card in Charline Labonte, who hasn't allowed a goal yet in the Clarkson Cup finals, and lead the CWHL during the season with a .927 save percentage.
You can watch the game live on Sportsnet at 2pm. You can also stream the event via the CWHL website.
At the same time, the McGill Martlets will be taking on the University de Montreal Carabins, with a chance to sweep the RSEQ championship.
Our own Jack Han works with the Martlets, so we'll be cheering them on big time, and you can stream the game right here at EOTP:
