Canadiens rookie tournament roster
* The Canadiens will be without 2015 1st round pick, Noah Juulsen, as he won’t play in the tournament due to a concussion.
* Markus Eisenschmid will also not be playing due to injury, the Canadiens have invited Ottawa 67’s forward Sam Studnicka to take his place.
Here are the players to watch for Montreal:
#38 – Nikita Scherbak – The exciting 2014 1st round pick looks to dazzle Habs fans this rookie camp with his shot and skill. He may even have a chance to crack the opening night roster.
#54 – Charles Hudon – Coming off a great season with the Hamilton Bulldogs last season, Hudon looks for a chance to show everyone that he is worthy of a spot with the big club.
#34 – Michael McCarron – The 2013 1st round “project” pick who’s turned into quite the young player will have all eyes on him this camp.
