Thursday off-day game thread

Eight games are on the NHL schedule tonight, but only three are broadcasted in Canada, unless you’re enjoying the free Center-Ice preview that’s currently going on.

First up at 7:00pm on TSN is the hilariously inept Calgary Flames against Mikhail Grabovski‘s Washington Capitals, a match that’s sure to produce a few goals for the Caps.

At 8:00pm on TSN2 the Los Angeles Kings will face off against the Minnesota Wild, who extended Jason Pominville for five years today at a reasonable dollar, even if he may be a risk at that term.

Finally at 10:00pm we’re back to TSN as the Vancouver Canucks take on the San Jose Sharks, who swept them in the postseason last May. It’s Roberto Luongo’s first regular season game back as the undisputed starting goalie.
