Thursday Habs Links – Subban controversy abounds

Thursday is the first time the Habs and Sens will meet in a game that matters since their meeting in the 2013 playoffs…stay up to date on line ups and other news throughout the day here at Eyes on the Prize.

The Habs star defensemen P.K. Subban was the source of large amount of media attention following his limited play at the end of Tuesday night’s game against St. Louis…TSN stirred up the pot a bit in this article here.

While Subbanamania was running wild fellow star defensemen Erik Karlsson had some interesting thoughts on the reigning Norris trophy winner.

There was also a good bit of roster news for the Habs today as Travis Moen has been cleared to play based on practice lines on Wednesday….to make room the Habs sent forwards Louis Leblanc and Martin St.Pierre to the AHL.

Habs prospect Mac Bennett isn’t talked about much, but he’s been a big deal for Michigan this year as their captain.

It appears that Morgan Rielly wants to be the new mayor of Toronto as well.

Jason Arnott has announced his retirement from the NHL on Wednesday, the former Oilers/Devils/Stars/Predators/Capitals/Blues forward finished his career with a respectable 417 goals and 521 assists in 1244 games played.
