Three games for Pacioretty

First out the gate with the report was RDS’ Renaud Lavoie, who stated the Canadiens Max Pacioretty has been suspended three games for his hit on the Pittsburgh Penguins Kris Letang.

News hit just after the Habs hit the tarmac in California.

NHL VP Brendan Shanahan admits that Letang had to be ready to expect a hit, and sacrifice his body, on the shot, but that no player should expect that his head will be a target. Shanahan agreed with Pacioretty’s assertion that body positioning was a factor but emphasizes that it’s his responsibility to make contact through the core.

Video explanations in both languages after the jump. Hab at it, kids!
