About 2 weeks ago I bought 4 tickets to the Habs Intrasquad game on September 14th benefiting the Lac Megantic relief fund. Five minutes later I realized that the game is on Yom Kippur and that I couldn’t go. If Sandy Koufax doesn’t pitch, then I can’t go see Danny Briere torch the Canadiens
At first I thought it would be a good idea to try and give away the tickets to some well placed individuals in hopes of getting free real tickets at some point during the season. When that didn’t work out I said “screw it, I’ll just give them away on EOTP” (Hey winner, you can still take me to a real game if you want)
We asked you all to participate in a caption contest that would score you 4 free tickets, 4 hot dogs, and 4 bags of chips to the game and after about 100 entries we combed through the submitted captions and found ourselves a winner!
