The Montreal Canadiens have recalled forward Bobby Farnham from the St. John’s IceCaps, in a move that was preceded by sending down Sven Andrighetto last night on his last day of waiver protection.

Farnham has been playing in the top six with the IceCaps, who have been riddled by injuries of late. It is likely that he will simply sit in the press box while a mix of Chris Terry, Michael McCarron, and Daniel Carr play on the fourth line.
Farnham has nine points (4 goals and 5 assists) in 31 games played in the AHL this year. The last game he played for the Ice Caps he was on the second line with Jacob de la Rose and Max Friberg. This is his first call up with the Habs after he played 50 games with the New Jersey Devils last season.
