Nikita Scherbak, the Canadiens' first-round pick in 2014, will make his return to the St. John's IceCaps lineup, after being out with an injury since October 25th.

The right winger has missed the last six games, and will be looking to start finding some consistency in his play. He has registered only three points in eight games, but he has mostly played tough defensive minutes on the third line, with Gabriel Dumont and Jacob de la Rose.

As for de la Rose, he will miss the game against the Marlies on Friday, as he was injured during the last game when he crashed into the boards.

He's had a tough start to the season, although he was recently promoted to the second line, possibly as to get easier defensive assignments. There's no word on the duration of his absence.

And finally, Tim Bozon was reassigned to the Brampton Beast of the ECHL, having missed the entire season thus far due to a shoulder injury.

His rehabilitation has taken longer than expected, but this reassignment should be seen as a positive indication that he is ready to play.

Friday's IceCaps game will be shown on RDS, starting at 7:30pm ET.
