With 10 points in 9 games (4G, 6A) and a three game-winning goals, Weber adds to his excellent debut with the Habs with this honour, after winning October’s Molson Cup, and registering a personal best in points to begin a season.
Weber was also named as the NHL’s third star of the week.
Thanks to Weber, Kirk Muller, and some other newcomers, the Canadiens are off to a great start this year, which is definitely cause for cautious optimism.
