In under 12 hours, the Habs face off against the Leafs on Hockey Night in Canada. About damn time.
It's been an astounding 287 days since we last say the Montreal Canadiens play. Their last game being a 4-1 win over these same Maple Leafs at this same Bell Centre.
I was lucky enough to attend that game with a friend, it was a nice way to close out a disappointing season.
It's a new season now though, with a new coach and a new general manager. So how much change do we expect?
We'll preview the game in more detail in a bit, but for now, I want your predictions in how it ends. Is it a win? Is it a loss like the last two openers against the Leafs? Does Mike Komisarek set up another Habs goal?
