Rogie Vachon collection highlights latest Classic auction

Classic Auctions, the auction house that featured Paul Henderson’s Game Eight jersey from the ’72 Summit Series, now has it’s Fall Auction up and running.

The latest block of hockey memorabilia features items from former Montreal Canadiens goalie Rogie Vachon.

Items from the Vachon collection include his first Stanley Cup ring (1967-68), game used equipment as well as autographed items he has collected, from other players (Wayne Gretzky, Grant Fuhr, Larry Robinson), during his days with the Canadiens, Boston Bruins and Los Angeles Kings as both a player and general manager.

Items from Mr. Vachon’s collection are just the tip of the iceberg, as there are 1096 lots up for auction including hockey cards, autographs, game used equipment , rare items and much more with bids starting as low as $150.

As always, there are several items pertaining to the Montreal Canadiens. A few are listed below.

A game-used Ken Dryden goal stick

1992-93 Team signed jersey

1933-34 Montreal Canadiens CCM ad

A meet and greet with Andrei Markov

You can find a larger list via the search option on the site, but I’ll get you started.

The auction runs until November 16, giving you lots of time to save your pennies. I won’t be bidding as I have a wedding to pay for, but anything on the list Habs-related would be a great wedding gift!!
