The Canadiens have loaned Jesse Ylönen, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, Corey Schueneman and Cayden Primeau to the Laval Rocket.
The Canadiens have three days off, not playing again until Wednesday night on Long Island, while Laval plays on Monday night at Place Bell versus the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Laval is in a desperate bid to make the AHL post-season, currently one point up on the sixth-place Cleveland Monsters for fifth in the North Division. These reinforcements have been made with the aim of ensuring a win in Monday's game, and shifting the focus of the organization to getting the young players some professional playoff experience.
