After the news broke that former Montreal Canadiens defenseman Jarred Tinordi has tested positive for performance enhancing drugs, speculation arose that Marc Bergevin traded him for that reason. Since then, Dave Tippett threw gas on the fire saying that this was an 'ongoing situation in Montreal', where the test was done.
