Unfortunately for Conor and I, Robyn can't make the podcast today, and our friend Dave Trentadue can only pop in for a minute to start the recording, so we had to delay a guest until next week. With that said, we've got a great show for you.

Tomas Plekanec is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, and despite what many would say about him, he has been the Montreal Canadiens' number one centre since the 2007-08 season. The Canadiens have three options with Plekanec; they can re-sign him, trade him at some point, or let his contract expire and move on. What should they do? And what WILL they do?

The Pittsburgh Penguins beefed up their forwards in a big way this offseason by acquiring Phil Kessel, Eric Fehr, Nick Bonino, and Matt Cullen, not to mention getting Pascal Dupuis back from illness and injury. However they're going with a complete youth movement on defense. Can that dynamic work, and are they cup favourites?
