Much has been made about the Montreal Canadiens' forward core heading into next season, but there are big question marks on the wing, and perhaps even bigger question marks at center. While many are wondering which prospect will be the stand out that makes the team out of training camp, the real question might be whether or not they'll be allowed to make a difference.

We brought in Arpon Basu to help us break down the Canadiens' seeming unwillingness to make the big moves that could change their fortunes. So far this summer, the Habs have missed out on difference makers like Michael Frolik, Justin Williams, T.J. Oshie, and now Patrick Sharp, all of whom were affordable. Are the Canadiens afraid to make the big move? If so, why?
