PWHL Montreal announces Place Bell will be their primary home venue in 2024-25

After a year that saw record crowds, and the realization that the Verdun Auditorium did not have a big enough capacity, it became clear that PWHL Montreal would have to set their sights higher and they are doing just that, confirming that Place Bell in Laval will be their primary venue for next season.

Place Bell is where the team played their two playoff games, and other than a Tuesday night where they had under 7,000 fans, all other games at the arena topped 8,000 with three complete sell outs of the 10,172 seat venue. Verdun Auditorium only held 3,232 people. They held four regular season games at the venue.

It is worth noting that the press release calls it their primary venue. There will be neutral site games, and it is possible that arena availability forces a game back to Verdun, which is where the team will continue to train and practice. You could also expect at least one game to be held at the Bell Centre after the success of the sell out game there last season.

Team names and logos are expected to be revealed this month, and training camps are fast approaching as the six teams prepare for season two.
