Maybe it’s a joke he’s pulling on all of us, but Sportsnet’s Nick Kypreos has announced via twitter that Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban has won the 2013 Norris Trophy:
Confirmed word out of Montreal and NY is #Canadian P.K Subban will be announced during Cup final as the winner of #NHL 2013 Norris trophy.

That P.K. would win the Norris isn’t surprising in the least, he put up a season that was Chara level dominant, much more impressive than any other defenseman this season. What is surprising is that an NHL award would leak.
I don’t think I’m going to confirm this as 100% yet, but it’s quite possible that Subban has just earned himself a couple extra million dollars on his next contract.
Remember when Subban couldn’t get respect from anyone? Ah the good old days. How ya like him now?
