P.K. Subban is doing a jersey signing for charity

As Montreal Canadiens players go, you’d be hard pressed to find a more charitable man than P.K. Subban. Prior to this season, he made a massive $10 million commitment to the Montreal Children’s hospital, they named an Atrium after him, and now he’ll be holding a charity signing there.

In order to promote this event, Subban took to the streets of Montreal, where he travels by foot, the metro, one of those weird segway things, and even a Police motorcycle. All this to spread the word of yet another charitable act he’s doing for the city. Check out the video:

While players can generally make a decent profit from jersey signings, 100% of the proceeds from this particular signing are going straight to the Montreal Children’s hospital. Yet another display of pure class from the Canadiens star defenseman.

Subban will be reserving a limited quantity of his Winter Classic jerseys available for purchase through the event’s website. More details are available there, and you can currently reserve one now through the site if you are interested.

The event will be held on November 29th, from 2-5 PM ET, at the P.K. Subban Atrium in the Montreal Children’s hospital. It’s a great cause, so we encourage you to get out if you can.
