Patrick Holland assigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs by the Montreal Canadiens

The Montreal Canadiens have sent Patrick Holland back down to Hamilton, which may be a sign that Max Pacioretty is ready to join the team against the Minnesota Wild on Friday, or it could be Travis Moen, who was expected to be out for one week with a facial fracture above his eye.

Either way, it’s probably good news for the Habs. Holland wasn’t terrible in his call up, but he was not suited to the role that Therrien was using him for.

Press Release:

MONTREAL, QUEBEC – Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Canadiens have assigned forward Patrick Holland to the Bulldogs.
