The Montreal Canadiens used their assigned sixth-round pick at 189th overall to select Parker Trottier.
The grandson of Bryan Trottier spent the 2025-26 season with the United States National Development Program, contributing 27 points in 61 games, 14 in USHL matches. He has another year to play before joining the University of Notre Dame in 2027-28.
This is another long-term project for the Canadiens, hoping a lengthy development path will turn a late-round energy player into an NHL option further down the line.
