P.K. Subban shows us yet again how to deal with tough situations
Yet again, the defender has dealt with another contrived issue perfectly.
You may have heard by now that a French-language group has an issue with the pronunciation of P.K. Subban's name.
No, it's not a joke.
Thankfully, as is usually the case with Subban, he dealt with the complex situation perfectly. His main weapon? Humour.
"It sounds kind of sexy, actually," #Habs P.K. Subban says about being called "Pay-Kah", but "my name is P.K. #HabsIO

Fair enough. It does sound somewhat sexy. However Subban was not done there.
P.K. Subban also said that as long as people are changing his name for him, he'd rather be called Denzel.

Alright Denzel, you win, again.
You may remember how he perfectly dealt with racism, or how he spun the arbitration situation with the Habs into a positive.
Essentially, Subban thrives when presented with an obstacle or a complicated situation, and this is yet another example of how he is masterful at diffusing potential issues.
He's a fantastic hockey player, a great human being, and a perfect ambassador for the game. There's no doubt about it, Subban will be around long after his playing career is over, whether it be in an analyst role, or a front office job.
We take our hats off to you, Denzel Subban.
