P.K. Subban has his name engraved in the Canadiens' locker room

After winning the Norris Trophy as the NHL's most outstanding defenseman, the Canadiens have added his name to the permanent plaque honouring award winners in the Habs' locker room.

Midway through January, half the fanbase seemed to want the Canadiens to trade P.K. Subban. Perhaps that shortsighted criticism is part of what lit a fire under Subban this season, or maybe it was the natural progression that EOTP and others predicted last season.

Either way, it was a spectacular season by the young defenseman that has resulted in the "for sure to be traded holdout" according to some, having his name permanently engraved in the Habs' locker room, right under Larry Robinson and newly inducted Hall of Famer Chris Chelios. It's a beautiful sight.
