Position open: Game thread writer
We’re looking to fill a position at EOTP that has been split between a few different people over the course of the season: writing game threads.
We’re looking for someone who watches every single Habs game with their computer at hand, and is able to work quickly and consistently, preferably with some experience in web-based writing and formatting. The position is on a volunteer basis.
Responsibilities
- Quickly master SB Nation’s Chorus editorial system.
- Create a game thread for each and every Habs game including a short, two paragraph preview, start time, TV schedule, and both team’s lineups.
- Create threads for the second and third period for each game that include scoring statistics and a short, one to two line summary of the period.
- Post the link for the new thread in the previous period’s thread when published in a comment./
