They say true success is found in the journey and not the destination. And so even though we were not able to bring home the Gold this time, the journey with this team has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. To my beloved teamates, i am proud to stand beside you today and there is no one else i would have put it all on the line with. Together we have built a foundation that will serve us for years to come. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us. We fought until the very end. We left it all out on the ice. I am proud to be Canadian, and grateful for all the love and support. To all of those who tuned in and supported our journey, you are a huge part of making this all worth while for us. Thank you and we will be back.
