Cousins was signed as a free agent on July 5 by the Canadiens after spending the previous two seasons with the Arizona Coyotes. He has 22 points in 58 games this year, with four of those coming on the power play.
The Golden Knights will hope he can keep contributing in the post-season, using his forechecking game to give the team an edge. He has six games of NHL playoff experience, recording no points in 2015-16 for the Philadelphia Flyers.
