How the lottery odds were affected by the results of last night’s games.

The draft lottery positioning is changing on a daily basis, with teams dropping in and out of playoff spots, and the league’s bottom teams jockeying for position over the final few weeks. Here are the the odds for the teams in contention for the first overall pick after last night’s action.

The Buffalo Sabres and Arizona Coyotes both won last night, each beating one of the top teams in the East. With Arizona’s win, there are now three teams tied for second with 63 points.

The Detroit Red Wings lost for a 13th time in their last 14 games. They still can’t gain ground on the Ottawa Senators.

The Chicago Blackhawks lost and got a point, so no fan of that team got a positive result last night.

The New Jersey Devils are finally under threat from the charge the Florida Panthers have been on since the start of the new year.

The Calgary Flames got shut out for a third time in five games, and that’s good news for a New York Islanders team — which also lost last night — that holds their first-round pick. The Flames loss moved the Kings into a playoff spot,

Today’s schedule: Remember when the Detroit Red Wings and Pittsburgh Penguins combined for some great hockey in back-to-back Stanley Cup Finals? Well you won’t be seeing any of that in tonight’s meeting. The Devils need to beat the Carolina Hurricanes to fend off the Panthers. Who gets the loss in the game between the New York Islanders and Senators? And that’s not even all of the riveting action on a nine-game Tuesday night!
