The Anaheim Ducks avoided entering the lottery rankings with a third-period comeback to get the game to overtime. It still allowed the Edmonton Oilers to claim another point.
The Vancouver Canucks have won two of their last three games, last night essentially sealing the fate of the plummeting Dallas Stars.

Today’s schedule: It’s a busy Monday night with nine games on tap. While the rankings didn’t change yesterday, there are plenty of opportunities for shakeups today. The Los Angeles Kings escape the ranks with a win. The Florida Panthers can move a single point back of the second wild-card spot. The Detroit Red Wings could be tied for fourth or as low as sixth, depending on how they, the Ottawa Senators, and Montreal Canadiens fare. A regulation loss moves the New York Rangers above the Oilers. And the New York Islanders get two good results if the Calgary Flames lose and the Chicago Blackhawks win.
