Throwback Thursday: A 10-year old P.K. Subban displays his skills at the Brick hockey tournament

Take a look at a young P.K. Subban displaying his superior puck handling and skating abilities

This footage comes from the Brick Super Novice Hockey Tournament, which takes place every year at the West Edmonton Mall, and usually involves a plethora of future NHL stars.

The tournament has featured players like Jonathan Toews, Steven Stamkos, Tyler Seguin, Jordan Eberle, Max Pacioretty, and more. It's a very interesting glimpse at how great these players were from a young age.

For example, this is P.K. Subban demonstrating his superiority at the young age of 10.

Interestingly, his coach had just switched him to the wing, away from his usual defender position, and it immediately paid off. In fact, some scouts were convinced that Subban had to be used on the wing to be effective at the NHL level once it came time to evaluate his draft value, but thankfully the Canadiens kept him in his natural position.
