The Montreal Victoire will officially return for their third game at the Bell Centre on December 27 when they host the Toronto Sceptres.

This will be the fifth professional women’s hockey game at the arena, with Les Canadiennes playing in 2016 and 2017. The first matchup between Montreal and Toronto set the world record for a professional women’s hockey game when they sold out the Bell Centre in April 2024. Montreal lost that game in overtime.

The Victoire earned the win in their game against the Boston Fleet last year at the Bell Centre when Laura Stacey scored the game-winning goal in front of 17,324 fans.

With the Canadiens on the road, it is the perfect time for the Bell Centre to host the game, and with it being after the holidays, a big crowd should be once again expected.

The Victoire get their season underway on Sunday in Boston before their home opener on Tuesday, November 25 against the New York Sirens.
